Reduction of bromate and chlorate contaminants in water using aqueous phase corona discharge

Abstract

This work demonstrates the ability of aqueous phase corona discharge to chemically reduce bromate and chlorate ions, common disinfection byproducts, to bromide and chloride ions, respectively.
