A novel antithrombin-heparin covalent complex
Abstract
Heparin has been used extensively for prophylaxis and treatment of deep vein thrombosis. However, heparin has several limitations including a short intravenous half-life, inability to inhibit clot-bound thrombin, and bleeding.
