INFLUENCE OF HYDROGEN ON THE EXTINCTION OF COUNTERFLOW DIFFUSION FLAMES BURNING DILUTED METHANE AND DILUTED AIR.

Abstract

The influence of hydrogen addition on the extinction of laminar, diffusion flames stabilized between counterflowing streams of diluted methane and diluted air was experimentally determined. Measurements made were the velocity of the gaseous streams at the injection plane as a function of their composition at extinction.
