Osseous metastases secondary to renal cell carcinoma
Abstract
We present the distribution of metastases and clinical course of 252 patients with osseous metastases secondary to renal cell carcinoma. Symptoms of the metastases were the presenting complaint in 48 per cent of patients (including 37 with pathologic fractures); the axial skeleton was the most commonly involved site.
