Nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region as a universal DNA barcode marker for Fungi

Six DNA regions were evaluated as potential DNA barcodes for Fungi, the second largest kingdom of eukaryotic life, by a multinational, multilaboratory consortium.
