Pulmonary sequestration: Diagnosis with multidetector computed tomography

Abstract

Pulmonary sequestration is an uncommon disease with non-functioning pulmonary tissue and anomalous systemic blood supply. The diagnosis depends on identification of abnormal systemic vessels. Arteriography, CT, MR and Doppler ultrasound can been used for diagnosis.
