Abstract

PURPOSE: The purpose of this research was to analyze and quantify the association between alcohol consumption and epilepsy as an independent disease, in part operationalized by the occurrence of unprovoked seizures, as well as to examine causality. METHODS: Systematic review, meta-analysis.
