Nonlinear analysis of flexural-torsion interaction in reinforced concrete frames

Abstract

A new multi-linear torque-twist model is presented to represent the uncracked, cracked, yielded and post-yielded torque-twist response of reinforced concrete members under pure torsion. This model is combined with axial and flexural behaviour models to investigate the full nonlinear response of reinforced concrete frames under combined actions.
