Extended Thromboprophylaxis with Betrixaban in Acutely Ill Medical Patients
Abstract
BACKGROUND: Patients with acute medical illnesses are at prolonged risk for venous thrombosis. However, the appropriate duration of thromboprophylaxis remains unknown.
