Abstract

BACKGROUND: The presence of a hypercoagulable disorder such as heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) may protect against anticoagulant-associated bleeding. OBJECTIVES: To determine the incidence of major bleeding in patients with suspected HIT.
