Premature labour induced by cortisol in the unrestrained pregnant rabbit

Abstract

The relationship between electrical activity (EMG) of the uterus, progesterone levels and gap junctions was studied in pregnant rabbits delivering either prematurely (cortisol-induced) or spontaneously at term.
