Chapter Five Voltage-Gated Sodium Channels as Insecticide Targets

Abstract

Voltage-gated sodium channels are critical for the generation and propagation of action potentials. They are the primary target of several classes of insecticides, including DDT, pyrethroids and sodium channel blocker insecticides (SCBIs).
