The metabolic syndrome and the risk of venous thrombosis: a case–control study
Abstract
OBJECTIVE: The results of recent studies have suggested that patients with idiopathic venous thromboembolism (VTE) might be at increased risk of asymptomatic atherosclerosis and cardiovascular events.
