Abstract

STUDY OBJECTIVE: To assess the effect of pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) on psychosocial morbidity, functional exercise capacity, and health-related quality of life (HRQL) in patients with severe COPD. DESIGN: A prospective, randomized, controlled trial with blinding of outcome assessment and data analysis.
