Testosterone and Prostate Cancer: Revisiting Old Paradigms
Abstract
CONTEXT: Androgens are vital for growth and maintenance of the prostate; however, the notion that pathologic prostate growth, benign or malignant, can be stimulated by androgens is a commonly held belief without scientific basis.
