Genomic analyses reveal low mitochondrial and high nuclear diversity in the cyclosporin-producing fungus Tolypocladium inflatum

Mitochondrial DNA is generally regarded to evolve faster than nuclear DNA in animals, whereas if this is also true in fungi remains unclear.
