Solid Oxide Fuel Cells Canada NSERC Strategic Research Network

The SOFC Canada Network is an association of about 20 research groups from both university and government, partnered with industry. A sub-program provides funding for student workshops, as well as opportunities for student travel both within the Network and internationally. The technical objectives of the Network include enhancing the sulfur/coke tolerance of the fuel processor, improving the performance of cells with sulfur-containing fuels through the development of new sulfur and coke tolerant anodes, as well as increasing cell robustness and lowering cost through alternative cell manufacturing methods and design.
