Short-external-cavity module for enhanced single-mode tuning of InGaAsP and AlGaAs semiconductor diode lasers

The construction and single-mode tuning characteristics of a short-external-cavity (SXC) module for InGaAsP and AlGaAs semiconductor diode lasers are presented.
