The plastic nature of the human bone–periodontal ligament–tooth fibrous joint

This study investigates bony protrusions within a narrowed periodontal ligament space (PDL-space) of a human bone-PDL-tooth fibrous joint by mapping structural, biochemical, and mechanical heterogeneity.
