Admission Control with Load Balancing in IEEE 802.11-Based ESS Mesh Networks
Abstract
In this paper we study admission control in IEEE 802.11-based ESS mesh networks. An analytical model is developed for studying the mesh network capacity. Based on this, a distributed connection admission control (CAC) scheme is proposed, which incorporates load balancing in selecting a mesh path for a new connection.
