Joyce Obeid

Dr. Joyce Obeid joined the Department of Pediatrics as an Assistant Professor with the Child Health & Exercise Medicine Program in 2017. Her research program focuses on exploring the power of play for children and adolescents growing up with a chronic medical condition or disability. Dr. Obeid's current research spans 3 broad and connected themes, including exploring the measurement of movement, understanding the relationships between physical activity and health, and investigating the role of technology to promote physical activity throughout the pediatric years.
