Cynthia Lokker

Associate Professor, Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact

Dr. Cynthia Lokker is a health research methodologist and researcher in the Health Information Research Unit, Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact at McMaster University. She is the inaugural awardee of the R. Brian Haynes and Family Chair in Knowledge Translation. Her research focuses on leveraging information retrieval and summarization approaches, particularly machine learning and natural language processing, to support evidence-based medicine and knowledge translation. She has expertise in digital health and evaluating mobile health applications. She is is the Faculty of Health Sciences Co-Lead for the MSc eHealth program.
