Established on the legacy of the internationally-recognized McMaster Transfusion Research Program (MTRP), the McMaster Centre for Transfusion Research (MCTR) is an esteemed academic research entity dedicated to advancing transfusion science and enhancing patient health, and MCTR has made significant research contributions over the past 16 years, impacting local, national, and international realms. With a core faculty of 7 and 8 associate faculty investigators, supported by a team of 11 staff including research coordinators, assistants, and biostatisticians, MCTR operates from renovated facilities within McMaster University.
