Dr. Yan Wang received her M.A. in Economics and Ph.D. in Finance from McGill University. Her research interests lie in the areas of price fragility, institutional investment, and empirical corporate finance. Her current research focuses on four themes: (i) the effect of price fragility on institutional trading behavior, capital markets, and corporate decisions, (ii) the informational role of informed financial agents in financial markets, (iii) the competitive effects of corporate decisions, and (iv) the interplay between labor market dynamics and corporate decisions.
