Jenna Rajchgot
Assistant Professor, Mathematics and Statistics

Dr. Jenna Rajchgot is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University. Prior to her arrival at McMaster in 2020, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Saskatchewan, a Postdoc at the University of Michigan, and a Research Member at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute (MSRI) in California. She received her PhD from Cornell University in 2013.

Dr. Rajchgot's research is in pure mathematics, specifically in the fields of algebraic geometry, commutative algebra, and combinatorics. She is particularly interested in algebro-geometric and combinatorial properties of algebraic varieties which have large groups of symmetries, as well as in techniques which are useful in their study.

Dr. Rajchgot is a member of the Combinatorial Algebraic Geometry research group at McMaster: https://sites.google.com/view/mcmastercag/home.
This collaborative research group consists of three McMaster faculty members as well as multiple postdocs and graduate students.
