Clonidine Does Not Reduce Pain or Opioid Consumption After Noncardiac Surgery

Abstract

BACKGROUND: Clonidine is an α2-adrenoceptor agonist, which has analgesic properties. However, the analgesic efficacy of perioperative clonidine remains unclear.
