Canadian Implantable Defibrillator Study (CIDS): Study design and organization

Abstract

The Canadian Implantable Defibrillator Study (CIDS) is an on-going randomized multicenter clinical trial that compares implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) therapy against amiodarone in patients with prior cardiac arrest or hemodynamically unstable ventricular tachycardia.
