Abstract

BACKGROUND: Guidelines recommend that patients receiving warfarin undergo international normalized ratio (INR) monitoring every 4 weeks. OBJECTIVE: To investigate whether assessment of warfarin dosing every 12 weeks is as safe as assessment every 4 weeks.
