Abstract

RATIONALE: End-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is associated with an accumulation of pulmonary lymphoid follicles. IL-17A is implicated in COPD and pulmonary lymphoid neogenesis in response to microbial stimuli.
