Research on the Efficiency and Influence Factors of Resistance Reducing Agent in Transmission line Grounding Grid

Abstract

The tower grounding grid is an important lightning protection facility for transmission lines, with the using of resistance reducing agent, the transmission line lightning protection engineering is often faced with blind construction, poor long effectiveness and other technical bottlenecks. In this paper, the effectiveness and influence factors of resistance reducing agent are analyzed particularly. Firstly, The influence of different reducing agent usage on reducing efficiency is analyzed through the results of multi-group calculation of the model of the slotted type and the square with radial type. Then, the influence of the material parameters of different reducing agent and the laying position on grounding resistance of grounding grid are analyzed. After that, the effect of grounding grid area and soil resistivity on resistance reducing agent are simulated. At last, according to the simulation results, the proposed construction suggestions are proposed for the actual transmission line grounding grid resistance reducing with the resistance reducing agent . The research contents can provide a theoretical reference for the transmission line lightning protection and power system grounding field.
