Optimal Dispatch of Active Distribution Network with Electric Vehicles Based on Improved CROA

Abstract

An optimal dispatching method of an active distribution network with electric vehicles is studied to improve the economy and stability of active distribution network operation and to enhance the satisfaction of power users based on the improved CROA algorithm. According to the logical operation relationship between electric vehicles and active distribution networks, the objective function of optimal dispatching is determined. The constraint conditions are constructed, and the distribution network dispatching scheme is optimized by using the improved CROA algorithm. The simulation results indicate that the voltage qualification rate, load rate, network loss cost, compensation cost caused by environmental pollution, network cost, and standard deviation of equivalent load curve of active distribution network are optimized by 18.65%, 29.48%, 46.78%, 57.33%, 10.41%, and 26.77%, respectively. The full charging rate and daily charging cost of electric vehicles are optimized by 17.19% and 43.98%, respectively, compared with those before dispatching. It verifies that the active distribution network optimization dispatching method with electric vehicles designed in this paper has excellent environmental benefits and economic benefits.
