Single-shell diffusion MRI for imaging white-matter microstructure in COVID-19: DTI vs. correlated diffusion imaging
Abstract
This study examines microstructural white-matter differences between self-isolated COVID-19 patients and controls using correlated diffusion (CDI) and diffusion-tensor imaging (DTI) based on single-shell acquisitions. Correlated diffusion imaging reveals microstructural differences between patients and controls in frontal, olfactory, and cerebellar regions previously unseen with diffusion-tensor imaging.
