Chemotherapy following surgery for stages IE and IIE non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the gastrointestinal tract.
Abstract
Twenty-six patients were treated with chemotherapy following surgery for gastrointestinal non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (GI-NHL). The median age was 50 years (range, 20 to 76). The primary site included stomach (16 patients), small bowel (seven), large bowel (two), and mesenteric nodes (one). Following surgery, nine patients had macroscopic and four patients had microscopic residual disease, and 13 were felt to have had complete surgical resection. …
