Tranexamic Acid in Patients Undergoing Noncardiac Surgery
Abstract
BACKGROUND: Perioperative bleeding is common in patients undergoing noncardiac surgery. Tranexamic acid is an antifibrinolytic drug that may safely decrease such bleeding.
