Investigating the Role of Peer Support in Reducing the Harms of Substance Use and Advancing Recovery: A Qualitative Analysis of CMHA Hamilton’s Community Mental Health Peer Support Initiatives

Project summary

The Canadian Mental Health Association, Hamilton Branch (CMHA Hamilton) has responded to the current wave of mental health and opioid crises, exacerbated by Covid-19, through the introduction of peer support initiatives. This project will evaluate the impact of these peer support initiatives and support evidence-based program development and decision making at the CMHA Hamilton.
