Systems Integration and Collaboration in Construction: A Review

Rapid advancement of information and communication technologies has brought both challenges and opportunities to the construction industry. There have been significant research and development efforts on the application of systems integration and collaboration technologies in construction. This paper presents a research literature review on systems integration and collaboration in architecture, engineering, construction, and facility management (AECIFM), and discusses challenging research issues and future research opportunities.
