The use of cellular and molecular biomarkers to manage COPD exacerbations
Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) exacerbations are a common cause of respiratory morbidity and mortality, and have various etiologies. Multiple cellular and molecular biomarkers have been associated with exacerbations.
