A Component Sizing Oriented On-line Controller for Parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle Powertrains based on the Adaptive Equivalent Consumption Minimization Strategy

Abstract

In this paper is illustrated the development of a flexible and near-optimal on-line controller for parallel hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) powertrains based on the well known Adaptive Equivalent Consumption Minimization Strategy (A-ECMS) approach. Guidelines for the developed A-ECMS are automatically extrapolated from a rapid near-optimal off-line HEV controller.
