Coherently controlled time delay line and DFB laser based on a single electromagnetically induced photonic band gap structure

Abstract

We utilize localized optical modes in electromagnetically induced photonic band gaps to propose a structure acting as a coherently controlled time delay line or DFB laser. These functionalities are controlled by a single infrared laser. © Optical Society of America.
