The illusive "buen vivir" - Indigenous women's experiences of intimate partner violence

Project summary

The goals of this project are (i) to learn about the experiences of gender-based violence and how to intervene using Indigenous ways of knowing and healing; (ii) to begin documenting IW knowledge through digital storytelling; (iii) to critically evaluate their current Indigenous practice models and develop ethics surrounding violence programs in Indigenous Communities; (iv) To develop a critical path toward "building and re-building" Indigenous ways to support self-determination; and (v) to advance connections across the Americas, in working towards justice for IW across the globe.
