Abstract
Platelet aggregometry and dense granule adenosine triphosphate (ATP) release assays are helpful to diagnose platelet disorders. Some laboratories simultaneously measure aggregation and ATP release using Chronolume® a commercial reagent containing D-luciferin, firefly luciferase and magnesium.
