Prophylactic platelet transfusion for haemorrhage after chemotherapy and stem cell transplantation
Abstract
BACKGROUND: Platelet transfusions are used in modern clinical practice to prevent and treat bleeding in thrombocytopenic patients with bone marrow failure.
