Abstract

BACKGROUND: Antiviral treatment for chronic hepatitis C may be less effective if patients are co-infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). OBJECTIVES: To assess the benefits and harms of antiviral treatment for chronic hepatitis C in patients with HIV.
