Temperature and Pump Wavelength Dependence of Photorefractive Effect in QPM LiNbO3 Wavelength Converters

Abstract

The photorefractive effect (PRE) in a quasiphase matched LiNbO3 waveguide was evaluated systematically by employing the pump-probe technique for the first time. It was found that the PRE depends strongly on pump wavelength and operation temperature.
