Video observation of pulp pad formation and properties in brownstock washing

A study was performed on video observation of pulp pad formation and properties in brownstock washing. Polymer-enhanced washing was evaluated in commercial mill trials. It was found that the efficiency of the brownstock washing operation has an enormous effect on the overall mill operations.
