Plasminogen-binding materials as fibrinolytic surfaces. Interactions of plasminogen with lysine-derivatized polyurethanes

Abstract

The objective of this work was to investigate the hypothesis that a surface which preferentially binds plasminogen (Plg) from plasma may be fibrinolytic. Such activity would depend on the ability of the bound Plg to express plasmin-like character.
