SEISMIC QUALIFICATION EQUIPMENT MOUNTED IN CANDU NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS.

This paper concerns the test procedures used in seismic qualification of CANDU nuclear power plants. A draft standard, CSA N289. 4, is in preparation and comments are made on some of the major aspects of the standard. A detailed evaluation of the single frequency testing procedures is presented, followed by several case histories in which this procedure has been used.
