Nutritional Support for Individuals With COPD
Abstract
RATIONALE: Malnutrition in patients with COPD is associated with an impaired pulmonary status, reduced diaphragmatic mass, lower exercise capacity, and higher mortality rate when compared to adequately nourished individuals with COPD.
