Osteoporosis treatment rate following hip fracture in a community hospital

Treatment rates for osteoporosis after a major osteoporotic fracture are unacceptably low. We evaluate the effectiveness of an ortho-geriatric team (OGT) in initiating pharmacologic therapy for osteoporosis post-hip fracture.
