The exposure-response relationship for mesothelioma among asbestos-cement factory workers.

Abstract

Forty-five deaths from mesothelioma have occurred among production workers in an asbestos-cement factory. This analysis examines the fit of the cubic residence time model to the incidence of mesothelioma using a case-control method proposed by de Klerk and colleagues. The cubic residence time model was found to provide a good description of the data.
